槐祭によせて
～学校長挨拶～
学校長 田村聡明
今年も「槐祭」の季節を迎える。
今年の槐祭のテーマは、「十人 TOY ろ」。おもちゃ箱のように楽しい企画が詰まった文化祭にしようという思いが込められたものだ。渋幕が大事にする一人一人の違いを大切に、それぞれが輝く機会になることを願っている。
一方、槐祭は生徒全員が参加して行う数少ない貴重な行事であり、お祭りは皆で作り上げていくものでもある。多様性や複雑性が増す社会は、個々に取り組むべきものが増える傾向にあるが、人間としての強みは実は協働することにあり、一人では成し得ない大きなものも作り上げることを可能にしてくれる。
天候や感染症など様々なことに気を配りつつ、年 1 回の大舞台でもある槐祭で、それぞれの TOY ろ ( 色 ) を、それぞれの思いで実現してほしい。
最後に、生徒会並びに槐祭実行委員会を始め、槐祭実現のためご尽力頂いた全ての関係者の皆様の献身的な活動に、心から敬意を表すとともに、槐祭の盛会を祈念する。

Once again, the season of Enjusai has arrived.
This year’ s festival theme is “Junin TOYro”—a play on the Japanese saying “Ten people, ten colors”(meaning everyone is different), blended with the word “toy.” The name reflects our wish to create a cultural festival packed with fun events, like a toy box. It also expresses the hope that this festival will become an opportunity for each person to shine, respecting the individuality that Shibumaku values so deeply.
At the same time, the festival is one of the few valuable events in which all students participate together. A festival is something we build as a community. In a society where diversity and complexity continue to grow and individuals are expected to take on more, our true strength as humans lies in collaboration, in coming together to create something greater than what any one person could achieve alone.
As we remain mindful of various concerns like the weather and infectious diseases, I hope that at this once-a-year grand stage of Enjusai, everyone will realize their own unique TOYro (color) in their own way.
Finally, I would like to express my heartfelt respect to all those who contributed to making this festival possible, from the Student Council and Enjusai Executive Committee to all involved and I, sincerely wish for the festival’ s great success.
